A sea gull gliding
through the fog drenched coast,
soaring high,
soaring low
searching endlessly
from shore to breakwaters end.
Sun scratching the
breaks in haze
sparkling diamond beads
on rocks and shore,
soaring more and more.
Blinding beams of light –
sea gull flying out from sight.
Soaring high
diving low.
Search has ended
two sea gulls following the offshore
breeze
soaring together
enjoying the mid-day sky.
