Wanderings

We

walked along a brook

through the night,

past the lampposts, rails,

neon signs and trails along the way.

We

saw people fade completely

out of sight.

Briskly the wind blew

on our stone cold faces,

sneezing from the bitter cold

inhaling

frozen air into our tender virgin lungs.

We

walked across a pond

past a lighthouse,  a bench.

We

inhaled an ugly stench of

cities life.

We

ran to a mountains retreat

and we stepped briskly, briskly, briskly

towards the gangplank of desire.

Daybreak

Morning.............................

Reflections-reflections

a cracked window pane

rests on cluttered pasts and fond provoking love.

The incumbent passer

throwing a deflated dream

to an invisible receiver

never reaching

that lovely passing beam.

Sunset........................

no reflections

searching

as though it my seem

No Title

I see you in the distance

as

I stare at something beautiful

playing

in nature's backyard.

Untitled

I spilled the long awaited troubles

over a silk bedspread

wrinkled by love.

A  future rising above the horizon

of your hazel eyes.

You have warmed me on many a winters night

and brightened my room

with your summer smile.

A compendium of memories

on an antique tureen

that pleasure

painted with your eye shadow.

I think of you dearly

as you

cast a shadow on my mirror

left behind  in a closed room.

GREAT HILL

darkness,

reflections of the moon on the

whitecaps.

You were scared,

from teenage fireside stories.

I pacified you mind.........

with tender

words of encouragement

and gentle actions

against the cool evening

breeze

and consoled your eyes

with kisses of love.
