The Cavern

Listen to me patiently,

I dream of happenings

lost in a cavern

bound in exuberance

discovered by you.

SMALL EXPRESSIONS

Thou you see my passions never unrolled,

this young poets tale will never be

told.

He is at a loss of expression, and

will someday teach the world a lesson.

Untitled III

I see you in the distance

as

I stare at something beautiful

playing

in nature's backyard.

UNTITLED II

I spilled the long awaited troubles

over a silk bedspread

wrinkled by love.

A  future rising above the horizon

of your hazel eyes.

You have warmed me on many a winters night

and brightened my room

with your summer smile.

A compendium of memories

on an antique tureen

that pleasure

painted with your eye shadow.

I think of you dearly

as you

cast a shadow on my mirror

left behind in a closed room.

Smoke Puff

I saw you in my

eyes,

a glare, possessed by

nocturnal visions

from nonchalant memoirs.

Just

smoke escaping

from a fireplace of thought.

MINER

Mountains glisten

through a snow ridge dream.

Snow melting from the noon sun,

a day moon

peaking through clouds

of nuptials with nature.

A lonely heart;

a mountain stream

carrying a "49ers" pick.

Golden memories flowing between your

wonderfully shaped fingers.

Thinking!

rings of hope

and words

that traveled through my sifting trough.
